Apple has requested the local law enforcement officials to investigate the circumstances surrounding an Apple employee’s lost next-generation iPhone (probably 4G) that was announced and published on internet last week after ending up in the hands of Gizmodo recently.
Apple has spoken to local police about the incident and the investigation is believed to be headed by a computer crime task force led by the Santa Clara County district attorney’s office, the source said. Apple’s Cupertino headquarters is in Santa Clara County, about 40 miles south of San Francisco.
He not only published it’s details and pictures but also tore it apart and published almost every possible details that he can come up with to the internet.
The possible case to be filed against Gizmodo in police / law enforcement by apple can lead him to serious penalties.Even if he get’s away from the law enforcement and being in jail he will be suffering alot indirectly.
