Arfa Karim, the world’s youngest Microsoft Certified Professional from Pakistan died yesterday night, saturday, 14th january 2012.
She was admitted in combined military hospital Lahore for last 26 days.
Arfa Kareem died at the age of 16.

Arfa Karim was admitted in icu of cmh after an epileptic seizure which caused damage to her brain and heart and caused cardiac arrest too. The youngest mcp kept fighting the battle of life for 26 days and left the world yesterday . . .
Arfa Karim’s father, Colonel (retd) Amjad Karim Randhawa said that he was satisfied with the treatment given to her.
Arfa Kareem received world’s youngest microsoft certified professional honor when she was only 9 years old, in 2004. She was invited by Bill Gates to visit Microsoft headquarters in the USA at the age of 10.
Arfa Karim was also honored with Fatima Jinnah Gold Medal in the field of Science and Technology by the Government of Pakistan in August 2005. She was also honored Salaam Pakistan Youth Award in the same year which has been set up by Pakistan’s Nobel laureate Dr Abdul Salam. Arfa Karim also won the presidential award for pride of performance.
Arfa Karim Randhawa also got certified for flying a plane at a flying club in Dubai at the age of 10.
