I have never encountered such an error on Digg before today. As soon as i started receiving this error, i tried searching on google for any previous posts related to this error while submitting a post link to digg by any other site or author, but didn’t get any information.
While trying to digg few articles i found out that the Digg.com gave an error and said:
There was a problem with the URL you tried to submit: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: unable to connect to ***********:80 (php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Temporary failure in name resolution)
I was bit confused with this error because this was not permanent. I was successful in getting one of my articles digged successfully too. Anyway, the error is really frustrating and i can’t understand the reason why i am getting this. Maybe some one else is experiencing it too because the website i was making a Digg from was perfectly running and didn’t have any recent nameserver updates.
