Facebook – Your account is temporarily unavailable due to site maintenance

Ever faced that account temporarily unavailable error message when trying to login to Facebook?

Today while using facebook, everything was working fine and I was chatting to one of my friend when suddenly his account vanished from the face of facebook. While trying to find the profile it said profile unavailable etc.

My friend wasn’t able to login to facebook anymore too. Facebook gave this error while trying to login to facebook:

Your account is temporarily unavailable due to site maintenance. It should be available again within a few hours. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Fair enough, the account is temporarily unavailable due to site maintenance. Maybe it was some data center or database server being fixed or upgraded which caused the issue with his profile.

His profile was back after 5 minutes or so. So if you’re getting this error, don’t panic, your account will be back again in couple of minutes!
