Yahoo has changed it’s layout some time ago and it has moved many settings and other stuff to different places. Today one of my friend wanted to change their yahoo! account password but was not able to find where to do it from.

It asks you to login with your current account password (if you are not already logged into Yahoo!) and then takes you to change password page. This page says:
Change your Yahoo! Password
Enter your current password and then choose your new password. Click Save when you’re done.
Please Note: To better protect your account, make sure that your password is memorable for you but difficult for others to guess. Do not share your password with anyone, and never use the same password that you’ve used in the past. For security purposes, your new password must be a minimum of six characters long. A strong password contains a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters (remember that your password is case sensitive), numbers, and special characters such as +, ?, and *.

- Goto Yahoo.com and login with your account
- Click on the arrow next to your name on yahoo main page (image below) and select account info (make sure you click on the arrow only, clicking on your name takes you to different page instead of showing the drop down)
- This will take you to the account info page (after entering your password). There on the left bottom you can see change your password under signing and security section
That will take you to the change password page (linked above too). There you will be asked to enter your old password once and your new Yahoo! password twice and it will change your Yahoo password!.
