When we connect iPhone / iPod to macbook or any other machine running mac OS, it pops up the image capture program to download your images from the iPhone / iPod memory to your computer harddisk.
However, if you have ever encountered the same situation, connected the iPhone 
with your macbook and nothing happened, then don’t panic, it’s very simple to solve this and get your images from iPhone / iPod to your computer hard disk.
To browse and download your images off the iPhone / iPod memory, simply goto : Applications > image capture and once you run the program, it simply shows you the options to download your images off the iphone / ipod device.
If you want, you can select to keep the image capture in the dock so that you can run it whenever you want!
