Definitely not the first time when I received this message from youtube when trying to open a video.
Upon trying to play various videos online, there are some providers that keep their content blocked for various countries. Biased?
Today when I went to youtube.com mainpage, on the right column there was a link to Underworld evolution trailer, I clicked on it and the next page instead of taking me to the video itself, took to the usual youtube page with and error displayed there.
The error said:
This video contains content from Sony Pictures Movies & Shows, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.
Well, it not only makes one angry on youtube, sony pictures, but also fellow country men who do illegal activities like copyrights violation that results in the videos from specific channel banned for all country members. (By the way, I live in Pakistan)
I am not sure which other countries are automatically in the ban list! specially of sony pictures and other related channels! Really frustrating!
