A friend of mine asked me that how to unlock iphone 4 baseband 04.11.08 on iOS 5.0.1.
Well, as the title says, this post is about “available options” to unlock iphone 4 04.11.08 5.0.1.
Well, short answer is, there is no option available . . .
Why? here it is:
1. Ultrasn0w can unlock iphone 4 01.59.xx basebands only. So 04.11.xx baseband can’t be unlocked by ultrasn0w
2. Gevey sim option is available to unlock iphone 4 04.10.xx, so again, no option to unlock 04.11.08 iphone 4.
Can iPhone 4 baseband be downgraded ?
No, it can’t be.
So for now, the iPhone 4 baseband 04.11.08 users can enjoy their “iPod touch” :)
Any update on this? And do you know the reason why ultrasn0w is not working with baseband versions higher than 01.59.xx? ;)
there are many other softwares out there now to jailbreak your iphone now, so trying them might be worth it.
