Warid mms settings for iPhone (Pakistan)

These are the working mms settings for iphone 2g, 3g, 3gs for warid Pakistan cellular network confirmed last on: 10th september, 2010

Important Steps:

  • change your number (settings > phone > my number) to this format: 92321xxxxxxx
  • If internet settings are not activated on your sim before, you might need to call the service center to activate them for the first time
  • make sure that internet is working before trying to enter the mms settings.
  • Restart your iPhone after entering the internet settings before sending mms

Once you are done with these steps, following steps will help you setup MMS settings on your iPhone for Warid Telecom in Pakistan.

Warid mms settings for iPhone (Pakistan):

For setting warid mms (Pakistan) on iPhone 2g/3g /3gs enter these settings:

Goto

Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network > MMS

and enter the following settings there :

APN : mms.warid

username:

password:

(Username and password are blank for warid Pakistan mms settings)

MMSC: 10.4.0.132/servlets/mms

MMSC Proxy: 10.4.2.1:8080

MMS Max Message Size: 512000

(It’s important to enter mms max message size to avoid error message rejected due to operator SLA violation )

MMS UA Prof URL:

(mms ua prof url is blank for warid Pakistan mms settings)

  2. Hello Everybody, Ive been banging my head over this for quite some time now but the settings seem to have no affect.

    I have a 3GS 16GB (4.2.1 / 06.15.00). Is there any know issue or some caveat with this version/firmware ?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    PS: Also asked Warid for the mms settings, which they sent, just MMSC being http://10.4.0.132/servlets/MMS rest is same.

    got the settings working on Warid, just needed to reboot my phone.. that was dumb :/

    So just put on these settings and reboot/restart iphone!
