Western union is the money is a financial services company based in United States.
Western Union is wonderful for sending fast cash from country to country. However, their sending fees varies alot from region to region.
For example, their fees for sending money from USA to many other countries (including Pakistan) is free! However fees for sending amount from UK and Pakistan to other regions is higher!
For most countries they have an online calculator to calculate fees and that how much will the receiver get once you send the money. They also have Online credit card based sending system for various regions, but unfortunately, like many other things, Pakistani people can’t use this service!
Anyway, here is the list of fees that western union charges when sending money out from the country to other regions.

It’s really surprising to know that they are sending money free of cost from USA. But i unable to guess the reason behind it.
well they say it’s free of cost, but in reality they earn some amount while currency conversion, because they give lesser rate than normal
Bro there is different fees for different countries.
And Western Union not only charging Fees. They’re also earning from Money exchange.
Like you send in PKR & the Receiver get USD
yeah! they have highly varied exchange rate!
I want to send 3,000,000 PAK Rs. To UAE. Can you tell me what will be the applicable fees.
And please tell will I get my money in UAE in PAK Rs or converted to AED. If it is AED then what commission will be deducted as exchange rate.
Sorry I’m not sure how much will it cost you, but I’m sure its easier and cheaper to send it to him via bank transfer

get the code you received in email and goto western union branch near you, you will have to show that code and your id card to get the money if it’s in your name.

Simply go to your nearest western union centre and ask them to send the money for you to the person in Philippines :)
