I employed Google Adsense ads on feedburner feed month or so ago to have any added revenue generated. However, although i had ad views in thousands, there were almost negligible clicks and that too didn’t pay very well.
The reason could be that i don’t have many rss feed subscribers, so definitely the stats don’t matter much? Maybe i will wait for some thousand or so subscribers until i start testing my adsense ads with them too!
The purpose of adsense ads is to provide the users with interesting links that might be relevant to what they are looking for! The rss subscribers behavior showed that maybe they are not interested in them at all! sort of! so that forced me to remove them
One more thing that was in my mind was, that the feed burner adsense stats may affect overall adsense account data and determine my accounts total impressions and ecpm, which means it will overall affect my earning potential if those thousands of impressions were not generating any clicks! So this was also an attempt to keep my ctr (click through rate) and ecpm (estimated cost per million) to higher level based on my overall account activity.
I just got adsense on my website and I cant find a way to choose ads that are relevant to my website. How can I?
you don’t do that yourself. Google does it itself.
Hey, my advise would be not to bother about advertisement till you get decent traffic. If you believe that you are in the right traffic, then place the advertisement. You can options to block certain advertisements. Go with the Images ads which are well received in the Internet, IMHO.

well, the traffic I am getting is enough to get me adsense income equal to my colleagues in hospital :) or even more than that.
and image ads..hmm.. last time i tried them but didn’t work well, i’ll try again!

Well there is a lot of science and art in using adsense efficiently and there is no flow chart for 100% success!
you need to learn and hit n trial alot to improve in it
