i already jailbroke it and everything, and i have cydia except it wont open. i tried using clear cydia list cache but it says cant find itunes mobile device dll file, so thats not working either. what else can i try?

Does the iphone 3g need to be running the os4 before you run the two programs?

Hey,

I have the iPhone 4 on 4.0.2,
so i got the OS4 (iPhone3,1_4.0_8A293_Restore.ipsw)
and redsnow (redsnOw 0.9.5b5-5)
both are unpacked and not in a zip anymore.

I open redsn0w browse OS4 (iPhone3,1_4.0_8A293_Restore.ipsw)
and it comes up with “unable to recognize specified IPSW”
HELP

Is it as removing the old 8A400 file from the software and dragging the 293 in? When I click alt and check for updates I get “iPhone is up to date”.
