These are the manual settings for cellular networks mms settings for Pakistan. These settings has been tested on iPhone 3G version 3.0 but should work on anyother mobile / cell phone too.
These settings has been last updated on: 7th June, 2010.
Note:
1. If you are activating mms on your sim for first time, you probably need to call on the service center to get it activated first
2. Please remember to restart your iphone after entering the mms settings to make them work.
3. Please enter the number of the person who you are sending mms to in format: 923xxxxxxxxx (thanks to zahman May 16, 2010 at 12:07 pm )
3. When entering mms settings also enter the same APN for cellular data that is mentioned for mms APN below for your network (verified for warid – thanks to Qassim) But not for ufone and Zong (verified by Muhammad Ali)
4. You might need to enter the MMS Max Message Size: 51200 to avoid error message rejected due to operator SLA violation (verified on warid network – thanks to Qassim)

I have done the settibgs for telenor mms n gprs but still mms is nt workinh as the sending bar is about to complete network is lost n iphone is again searching for signals n says no sim card inserted i treid it with mobilink n telenor both

please let me know, that it only drops signals when you try to use mms? or does it drop signals otherwise too? in my opinion, this is not mms settings issue, rather probably it’s your iphone OS issue,
one more thing to note is, that when it says no sim card inserted, this issue is usually when sim card size is short (like warid sims, you have to ask them to configure your prepaid account on their post paid account to make it work with iphone) , other reason could be that if you frequently change sims in your iphone, then it might damage the holding slot for the sim.
anyway, just let me know if the signals not found, or sim not found error occurs on iphone only while using mms or otherwise too.
Its only doing it while sending mms and it gas never shown any error msg lyk that before :(
and the slot thing: though i have changed the sim in the iphone but nt that much :$

Please try this:
1. did you ask and confirm from the service center that gprs and mms is active on your number?
2. did you check by sending mms via any third party application?
3. did you (and can you) upgrade your firmware to 3.1 (do not attempt by just clicking on update button in itunes, it will block your iphone forever)

@Ahad, you need to have either mms application from any third party, like swirlymms, or else you need to have iphone firmware version 3.x to get mms settings done from iPhone by default. Lemme know how you need further help :)

please check if you have working gprs or not
also make sure that you restarted your iPhone
otherwise contact their service center to first enable gprs / mms for your number

Do you have push notification and mail enabled on your iphone? that might possibly be using the bandwidth all the time for data transfer.
Imho, there are some settings that need to be changed on your iphone and an application will make your life easier!

all u need to have is 3.0.0 firmware for ur iphone even if its 2g or 3g…. do the following settings and i can bet they can work as i have been woundering around n surfeing the web like anything for this problem and this is how i finnaly managed to do it…. welli have a warid connection and i know about the warid settings only… however Nabeel can for sure help you all for other network settings…..

after writting the settings do remember to restart ur iphone…. VOLLAAAAAAA….
it will work for sure… the actual problem and mistake we all were doing is not entering APN info the same in cellular data as we did in mms settings… iphone by default has this issue that when we enter different APN it gives the conflict and the mms is not sent…. i did this all on hit n trial method n now this is how m easily sending MMS anywhere around the world…
and ya you do have to enter the max. message size otherwise after sending the mms you will get an error demon message that “message rejected dur to operator SLA violation” (this is becauz of the increase mms size)
the above mentioned stuff has already been tried and easily tested by me….
now Nabeel jani… you got to help the ppl cuming around here for help… i hope you will check and update accordingly… ENJOY……

Hello Rida, you need to install an application called sbsettings on your iPhone to manipulate various settings including edge. Please let me know if you need help in finding and installing it.

i use telenor bt i dont know how to do in warid when i write all these things in my iPhone settin then a camera option came in the msg bt when i wannna send the mms then it dont send it

I have tried the above described MMS settings for the ZONG network on my iPhone 3GS, OS 3.1.2 and am happy to say that they work.
You have to restart your iPhone after entering the settings though in order for them to work.

Note: I left the “Cellular Data” part of the settings completely blank as the iphone accesses the internet without any settings while only on cellular network.

you don’t need swirly on 3.1.3 Aqib. The settings are for iPhone builtin mms settings. Make sure your internet is working before you try for mms

I am using iphone 3gs with latest OS and firware. Before updating my mms was working perfectly on mobilink and i was able to send and receive photos thru mms. After the upgrade, i have used the same settings, gprs is working fine. I can send mms which other people recieve but i am unable to receive mms from other cells / networks. Please help me to sort this out.

the settings are perfect i ve tested them on my 3gs and 3g..on.warid mobilink and ufone…those getting errors try this….resize ur pics through computer and make them less thn 100 kb and then send them via mms.im sure it will solve ur problem

Do this: insert your sim in some other cell phone and see if mms is working for it on that cell.

I’m using Zong’s cellular services on my iPhone 3GS, iOS 4.2.1 (Factory unlocked). Before updating my iPhone to this new 4.2.1 firmware, I was able to send and receive mms (OS 3. ‘something’). After updating my iPhone, I’m unable to send MMS. I’ve tried the settings but they’re ‘NOT’ working anymore (these settings worked fine before updating my device).
Any idea?
Of course, Zong’s public support team is clueless about the issue and are unable to understand the situation, customer service centers have people who don’t know how to open settings option in the phone.
please make sure that gprs is working properly and let me know so that I can help further

Thanks bro …… i never had a chance to send a MMS via Warid .. but i used these setting on my iPhone 4 (5.0.1) and its really works :D .. Thanks buddy
glad to know that you finally used them to send mms from your iphone on warid network. These days whatsapp and viber etc are so common that mms is almost a thing of the past.
these settings dont work anymore…..mein ne warid ki try ki thi on my iphone 5 lekin jab mein msg bhejti hu it keeps on saying not delivered
there is some issue with the settings Aline, have you tried calling the warid service center ?
Ufone mms settings work best for iphone 4s.
